I randomly decided to fuck around with the layout, and this is what I got.
Some background colors are not working for some reason, and there are a few issues, but I honestly don’t care.
My favorite part of this is the footer. The WP powered by text fits perfectly in my BG image. I didn’t have to do anything to get it there, it just worked off the bat.
I still want to make my own software for my blog, but for now, I’m happy with this.
I know that WP here is one of the best blog softwares out there, but I don’t care about that at all. I don’t take advantage of half the shit that it offers nor do I plan to. I honestly don’t like it all that much. Not for any good reason other than the 5 minutes I would have liked it to take me to learn how to theme it was not enough time. Or something incoherent like that sentence.
From what I’ve learned by working on TX I don’t see anything about this blog shit that I can’t make. Would anything I code now be as good as WP here? Fuck no. But that’s not the point. I want something that I know my way around, something that if I want to have it do something, I’ll know where to go and what to do. Yes, I could look up a tutorial or two and figure WP out, but I’d much rather make my own blog shit.
A plus for me doing it myself would be as I learn more with PHP, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML (lol), and the likes the more advanced my blog would become. Start small and simple, and expand it. That’s how I like doing things. You figure out how to get the basics done, and you master them. Once you do that, you can move on to more advanced stuff. Also, the blog here would finally have a matching layout with my site. And that’s always a good thing.

If you did not know, I’ve been working on a tutorial site for the past few years. It was not always “Explosion” at one point it was “portal,” but domain complications led me to a new domain and a new name.
Anyway, the site has been down for ages and ages. Back when it was portal it was getting some traffic, but very little. Then the domain issues poped up and that was just it. Portal was dead. Now, Explosion will be taking its place!
Under cover of darkness, I’ve been doing a good bit of PHP coding and for the first time I’m happy to say that there is fianally progress towards getting the site launched! It is no wheres close to being done, but at last I have data going not only from the DB, but to it as well!
We’re on our way!
By the time anyone gets to reading this, I’ll already be up at Alfred State, in upstate NY…
I’m way more nervious than excited, but I’m sure it will all work out.

Everything I’m about to write is being written by me with my tablet! Not once will I even touch the keyboard!
I had no idea Vista could even du this until I pluggedmy tablet in. This program is doing a decent job of deciphering my shit handwriting! I know that it would be much faster To just type this out, but shit this crap is cool! I don’t think it likes me cursing, shit has yet to be shit, usually its “shirt” or “snit” but it is still one of the coolest things I’ve seen this laptop do! I think I < 3 vista!
Edit: clearly it failed a few times, but no big deal! Shit is still cool!
Just updated my site layout for the first time in months!
I will one day reskin this blog (or make my own!)!
